My mom signed me up for soccer after moving to California when I was 9 years old so I got started a little later than most of my peers. But after scoring my first goal, I was hooked. My life became consumed with soccer. I discovered that I truely have a talent for soccer and I have made some of the best friendships over the years that will last a lifetime. I have been blessed with some amazing coaches who have really taken me under their wing and believed in me. I have won many awards and even made the All Region team for High School and have been featured in many different newspaper articles throughout my soccer career.
Soccer has taught me the meaning of the word team, and how important cooperation and teamwork are in everything I do. Soccer has taught me about hard work and dedication and how to be a good sport. I know that it is okay to celebrate my success, but also how important it is to lose with dignity and respect. I believe that my life will always include soccer in some capacity.
I truly wish to play soccer at the collegiate level and feel I will be an asset to any team. I am versatile and can play multiple positions, I am strong, very fast and work hard every day to grow my speed and endurance as well as my knowledge of the game. Not only does my hard work show through my athletics but also in my education. My academics are important to me and I strive to have a healthy balance between school and sports.
