My name is Addison Miller. I am going to be Junior at Alton High School in Alton, Illinois. I graduate in 2021. I play Goalkeeper and have been awarded All-conference 2 times (Freshman & Sophomore,) All-Sectional (sophomore,) and voted team MVP for my high school team. This past season, I set the school record for most shutouts in a season - 14. I am 4 away from setting the all-time career shutout record for the school as well. I also ran track for AHS this past season, I ran the 400m and 4x400m. My personal record for the 400m and my split for the 4x400m is 60 sec. I ran track in Junior High school where I won state medals for the 400m (8th), 4x200m relay (8th), and the 4x400m relay (7th.) For club, I play goalkeeper for multiple select teams; Lou Fusz Lagow/McKee Blue 02 team in the US National League Midwest Conference where we will play in the Premier division this year. When I'm not traveling with them, I will play with Fire and Ice Soccer Academy 01/02. I also play for Fire and Ice WPSL Reserves team during the Summer in a summer college league with a few colleges that include DII, JUCO, and NAIA teams.
I plan on getting my master's degree in Biomechanics and would need a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. I would love to minor in Coaching as well. My goals for the next year of soccer and school is to win All-State this year as well as Academic All-Conference... I was close with a 3.47 GPA this past year. I want to win the Southwest conference this year in both High School and I want to win the Midwest Premier II Divsion of the Midwest conference in the National League. My club team has either been runner up or lost in the semifinals of the Missouri State cup for 4 years in a row and I want to win it this year finally.
My strengths as a goalie are my athleticism, my aggressive play, I have an elite level throwing arm, and my ability to play confidently with my feet while playing out the back. I am constantly working on becoming a better technical goalie. Everything I do, including practice, is 110%. I want to be the first in line for every drill and first back in line to do it again. I want to win every shuttle drill, every juggle competition, every goalie war, every 1v1.
