My name is Elizabeth Burfeind. I am a 2026 all Honors/AP student at Lincoln Way East High School. I maintain a 4.93/4.0 GPA and my PSAT is 1480 which is the 99 percentile. My dream is to play high level soccer at a top academic university.
I play center Midfield for Galaxy SC 08GA #29. Our team is from Naperville, Illinois. This is our first year playing in the Girls Academy League and are currently undefeated in league play. We are the 2022 & 2023 USYS National Champions, U14 & U15 Illinois State Cup Champions and the U15 Midwest Regional Champions. I earned Best XI at National League P.R.O. in December 2022 and again during the USYS National Championship in July 2023!
In addition to my club team, I play attacking Mid for Midwest and Illinois ODP 2008 teams. I was selected by ODP coaches to represent the Midwest in 2021, 2022 & 2023 at Interregional Showcase. In May 2022, I was invited to the US Soccer YNT Identification Center.
I currently represent our team on the Girls Academy Team Advisory Board. Outside of soccer, I am an active member of the Future Business Leaders of America, Future Lawyers of American and Student Council. I enjoy volunteering for the USYS TOPSoccer Program.
