My name is Isabella (Bella Masse) I am in the graduating class of 2025. I have a 5.44 GPA, I am in the top 5% of my class, I am a member of National honor society, and I am a high honors student. Academics are a high priority of mine and I always work to maintain all A’s.
I attend Mattoon High School and during my freshman soccer season I started all varsity games at center mid, I was one of the top scorers on my team, and I received first-team all-conference. In my sophomore season, I started all varsity games at center mid or forward, I was one of the top scorers on my team and received first-team all-conference. We were conference champs for the first time in school history, we passed the games won in a season record with 23 and were regional champs. This past fall (2022) I joined Central Illinois United, competing in the Girls Academy League. We had a rough start but ended our season at the GA Winter Showcase in Mesa, AZ with a 2-1 record. We are scheduled to play at the GA Showcase June 23-26 in New Jersey.
As a player, I am always working to become the best I can be. I use my speed to always put pressure on the opposing team's defense, especially when playing forward. I also like to use my speed to beat defenders when I have the ball and beat them to the through balls that my teammates play through. Working hard is something I take pride in, and never wasting a chance I have to play soccer is important to me. I can play many positions and am always willing to try something different and learn/see the field from a different spot.
