Academics:
I'm a distinguished student, role model and consistently appeared in the High Honor roll list at all the schools I've attended. Both my parents have a BS degree in Engineering and the environment at home had always been impregnated with getting ahead and complete a college degree that will help position myself for better opportunities to cristalyze my goals.
What I want is simple, I want to extend my soccer life to a collegiate level and complete my degree as a top student and achieve many many goals and dreams I have about soccer. I'm also thinking of becoming an Doctor in Orthodontics as my graduate degree AND WHY NOT If my abilities, game knowledge and IQ I've developed over the years open doors to play at a Professional level I'll take it!!.
I just turned 15 y/o, so far this is my 9th year playing competitive soccer and I expect to play many more years to come.
Soccer Life:
At home, we eat, dream and talk soccer. I'm the only girl in a family of 4 siblings and the only one playing soccer. All my brothers also play sports, that's something I have to thank my parents for always trying to keep us practicing sports at the best possible level.
My dad played Professional 3rd division (1991 & 1992) and for college (1991-1993) back in Mexico, so I had an early start in this game.
I'm a right-foot player and over time (and with help from dad) I've learned to kick the ball well with both legs. Pretty much, the early training I received was focused on settling the ball quick and then start creating offensive plays attempting to cross the opponent's lines with accurate passing, that quickly helped me developed a play-making vision in the field which then turned to play as the center-mid at most of the teams I've played.
Over the years and when facing more competitive teams I've also learned how to play as a "livero" (mix of a mid-fielder and forward) thus creating more scoring chances for my forwards and where I also scored a good number of mid-range (outside the 18 FT box) goals.
Just recently, I finished playing for my HS Junior varsity team (I'll be a sophomore in the fall of 2015) and I was named the MVP at my school where I helped getting the school's first winning season where I was also the top scorer and assist leader.
This is my 3rd year with Chicago Inter, I play in the U-16 bracket, I'm in the Black team and my jersey number is #17.
I invite you to stop at my games and watch me play, I'm sure you'll be pleased with what you'll see.
My club, Chicago Inter, is hosting the 3rd College Showcase the weekend of July 10-12 and here's my schedule for that tournament:
Friday 7/10: 10:00 AM, Field # 6. Saturday 7/11: 10:30 AM, Field # 5 Sunday 7/12: 1:30 PM, Field # 5.
I'm aware of my skills, abilities and game knowledge and where that can take me. Over the years playing this great sport I have developed a game IQ that I feel positions me well above the average soccer player at my age bracket and I'm not affraid to demonstrate what I have and what I can deliver.
I'm very positive you'll be pleased seeing me enjoy directing the game to the position that makes the more "damage" possible to the opponent and that's thanks to my years of playing and influence and help I get from my dad and coaches to deliver the best I can.
