Casey Crusius '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was a young girl and it immediately became a passion of mine. Soccer is a huge part of my life and I can't imagine what it would be like without it. My journey as a soccer player started out as recreational, then club, and now at the high school varsity level. My goal is to continue playing after high school at the collegiate level. I would like to become an asset on a college team while pursuing my academic dreams at the same time. This has always been my ultimate goal! My grades are above average and I am at the top of my class. I take all honors and AP classes and I am always challenging myself whether it is in the classroom or on the field. I dedicate myself year round to putting in the hard work that it takes to be a student-athlete. As a midfielder my key goal on the field is to distribute the ball as well as work as an offender and a defender. I've been told that I am a versatile player. I aspire to be like former teammates of mine who have moved on to do great things. I am continuing to grow as a player day after day and I can not wait to see what the future holds for my soccer career!
