Emmi Doty '24 Recruiting Profile

I am Emmi, a 125lb, 5’4” Forward/Attacking Midfielder from St. John, IN. I am a Sophomore at Hanover Central HS, where I play varsity soccer and earned both MVP, Wildcat Attitude award and was recognized as 1st team all-conference. I also was recognized as 3rd team All-State and All-Area Honorable Mention. I currently play for Indiana Elite FC (premier),where I lead the team as captain, and I am a starting attacking mid. I am an honors student with a 3.8 GPA for semester 1 (fall 2021), and I play trumpet in Honors Band. I am not just a one sport athlete, I play varsity basketball and I'm one of the kickers on the high school football team! With everything that I do (academics and athletics), I always thrive to do my best. While I am hoping to find a university that offers me the opportunity to be an asset to a family oriented, goal minded and high-level soccer team as a freshman along with an exemplary academic program possibly in (business/sports marketing/?). My desire is to find a DI, DII, or DIII school where I can put my motivating-positive leadership skills along with my strength, speed, and accuracy to good use on the field. I want to continue to grow as a team player and individual by using my enthusiastic, confident, determined, and self-motivated personality to set forth bigger goals for the team and together, achieve them. I also believe that it is important to have respect and communication on and off the field with your coaches and teammates to create a sense of community within the team atmosphere. On the soccer field is where I feel most at home and I am looking forward to finding my next home, possibly with you!
