My name is Claire Clemmer-Becht, And I have been playing sports by entire life, which comes easily since both my parents were college athletes. In the Spring of 2021 I was recruited to be a goalie because of my arm length and quickness. I immediately fell in love with soccer. Since that time I have worked hard to improve my game by playing on my high school team and a travel team. I take goalie lessons and attend goalie training camps. I feel that I have improved a great deal over the last two years.
During the school year I juggle 4 high school sports, and excel in the classroom while taking all honors courses. Last fall I played on the JV soccer team as goalie. I also played on the high school JV and varsity basketball team and was awarded best offensive JV player. I am the goalie on my travel soccer team, Falls City ‘07, and we just won the USYS Kentucky Presidents Cup.
This Spring I played varsity tennis, number two singles and won a Sectional title. In addition I did high jump for the school track team. I have found a love of soccer and my aspiration is to be a college goalie. My next three years in high school I will be working hard to attain this.
