Maritza Romero '23 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer when I was 6 years old and fell in love with it since then. I always look for improvement to better myself physically and mentally.  Doing extra training to improve my skills and technique is something I do constantly. I can play anywhere on top and when needed as a midfielder. My strengths on the field are powerful right foot, ability to dribble past defenders, speed, and being able to take a shot on goal from a distance. Just like I take soccer seriously, I take my academics seriously. Keeping my academics in a good place is something I always try to do. Playing college soccer would be an honor for me. I look to playing soccer and studying law after high school as well maybe one day playing at a professional level.
