Starting sports at an early age definitely gave me a love for competition. I've made it far in some sports such as track and field, for my coach pushed me all the way to Sacramento, California, in the Junior Olympic Championships in 2016. I've participated in many sports such as gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, and, of course, track, but found my heart was out on the soccer field. My dedication to the sport over the last few years has shown enormous improvement. The result is a whole new player during the game. I recently earned a spot on the Indy Premier 04G Elite 1 team (with increased guest-playing time on the club's GA team) proving that my year-round work is paying off.
In high school, both academically and athletically I'm looking to go far. I'm on the road to earning the Academic Honors diploma, and I'm working overtime to maintain my 4.0 GPA. With such high goals for my education, and being the person I am, I had to match my soccer ambitions with that. I work on my strength, speed, agility, technicality, and power daily, usually multiple times. Going from one practice to another workout, I'm determined to make these dreams a reality, and I'm too stubborn to accept anything less. I'm aware that I'm giving myself plenty to juggle, but I have found over the years that I am beyond capable of handling pressure. I'm always able to plan my time wisely with room for flexibility. After high school, I've decided I'd like to study architecture which, again, I'm aware is a big undertaking. Growing up in the family business has shown me a love for hard work, and I will continue to work harder and push myself in order to check my goals off the bucket list! I hope this determination shows on the field as much as it does in my day-to-day life, and I'm excited to see where it takes me.
