Hi! My name is Courtney Leap. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile!
I am entering my senior year at Tipton High School, in Tipton, IN. I play on the girls Varsity soccer team and for Indiana Fire Academy club soccer on the 05/06 Girls Red team. My current position is center back, but I have played all defense positions as well as midfield. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. I aspire to play at the collegiate level because I feel my leadership and ball handling skills would benefit the team and allow me to represent my college in a positive way.
On the field I am known for my endurance, determination, positivity, and my adaptability to play in any position. I work hard to encourage my teammates both on and off the field. I am humbled to share that I received the Mental Attitude Award for my high school team my junior year. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA, which is currently 4.083/4.0. I am also a Varsity Cheerleader and a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, I play for the Indiana Fire Academy, I work part time, and participate in 4-H. These opportunities have taught me excellent teamwork, cooperation, and time management skills.
I aspire to attend a college where I can pursue my career goals while also pursuing my lifelong passion and love for the game of soccer.
