Hello, my name is Whitney Duell and I will graduate in 2024 from Harrison High School in West Lafayette, Indiana. My love of soccer started 10 years ago and over time has grown into my joy and passion. I have played travel club soccer for 8 years and currently play on NWI Lions United ECNL out of Crown Point, Indiana; and Boilers FC Showcase out of Lafayette, Indiana. I am currently the starting defensive mid for the Harrison Girls Varsity Soccer team. My primary position is centerback, but I can play any mid or defensive position on the field. I am very athletic and swift on my feet so I can cover a lot of ground quickly.
My role on any team is usually the leader because I am highly motivated and competitive, and I tend to be the most vocal because I like to communicate and encourage my teammates. My teammates are like family to me and I want us all to have fun and be successful.
My parents have always been very supportive of my playing soccer, but they have instilled in me that my highest priority should always be my education. I work very hard in school to do the best I can academically and prepare myself for the next level. I hope to find a college where I can pursue my degree in business and achieve all of my academic and athletic goals. I am very excited to start the process and look forward to communicating with prospective schools and coaches.
