Personal Statement
Soccer is more than just a sport for me. As a kid, soccer was an outlet for me to express myself, meet new friends and recreate myself. In high school, I was recognised as one of the best female soccer players and even though I am not playing in a club after completing high school, I still have the passion and talent to restart my career in the game.
My goals for playing soccer are to get a scholarship to cover my college tuition and to become a successful and professional soccer player to develop myself and my family financially.
Three main things make me a good candidate. The first one is my skill and talent, I played soccer since I was a kid and in the process, I fall in love with the sport which helped me develop my talent in soccer. The second one is my goals. I have "driving forces" that motivate and help me focus on my career more as goals are very important to reach one's dream.
A character that I think makes me unique is, my optimism. In athletics, my unique character is a "fast learner" and academically, my "concentration" is my unique character.
