Personal Statement
My name is Sara Skaptadóttir and I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old. I have been playing for my hometown club Þór (Iceland) my whole life but when I was 15 I started playing for Þór/KA which is a joined team of Þór, my team, and KA, another club in Akureyri.
In 2012 I went to Denmark to compete in a tournament with teams from all over the world. My age group won the cup. In 2013 I went to Wales with the U-16 National team to compete in a development tournament. I started playing for the main team in 2013 as a substitute but have worked my way into the starting 11. We are a good team with focus on teamwork and the team has placed in top 4 last four seasons.
I have no preferred location. I would like to go to a good college/university that offers quality educational courses with much emphasis on soccer. I try to make a good example for other players, especially the young ones. I focus in trainings, and eat healthy, nutritious food.
2015 - U-20 Cup Champion
2016 - U-20 Icelandic Champion
2017 - U-20 Icelandic Champion and Cup Champion (Main team was Icelandic Champions as well)
