Personal Statement

I would like to get a college scholarship to the USA to play division 1 soccer and study business and accounts. From there I would like to get another athletic scholarship to a university. I would be a good candidate for their team because I will be a good asset for the team and I will do my best to help the team win matches. I am different from other recruits because I know you have to work hard to get places and have a good attitude and approach to people from any country especially since I am from a small island in the Caribbean so it's hard to be noticed by College coaches. I am different in academics because our system is different from American countries and we finish school two years earlier so our school work is a bit harder and I have to maintain good grades to get into a good College at a younger age than most High School graduates. I am different in athletics because Barbados is limited to women's soccer so I have to make sure I am in that group of National players and make the final cut, which I have.
