Personal Statement
As a military brat, I have had the incredible opportunity to play soccer all over the world. From the suburbs in Virginia to the mountains of Germany, I have truly lived every soccer player's dreams of playing soccer and traveling. Living in countries where it was not optimal for female soccer players has pushed me to work even harder and want to play more than ever. Picking up other sports in the offseason and putting together practice sessions for athletes with the same goals as me. This is how I proved to my school that I deserved to be awarded female athlete of the year as well as the All-Tournament first team in the European championships. It is a dream of mine to continuing playing and I have made many sacrifices to play, but I am always reminded of how much I love the sport. Every time I step foot on the pitch I push to improve myself physically and mentally.
