Madeline Angel '26 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to play football professionally, I am currently aspiring to play at the highest level in College. I am an eager and hard-working person who will always put in 100%, I am very committed to everything that I do and always have a positive attitude. I have always tried extremely hard, not only in my sport but in all areas of my life. 

Growing up in a rural town in Australia I played many different sports, football, futsal, netball, basketball, tennis, softball  and waterpolo to name a few. But in recent years I have had to cut back to focus on my football. It has been my favorite sport since I was 4 years old. I have been playing soccer for 12 years and goalkeeper for around 7 years. I recently moved to boarding school which has enabled me to play at a very high level here in Australia in the Sydney National Premier League U23's women's division which is one of the best leagues in Australia for women. I have represented my State at Nationals multiple times and been a member of many representative teams. I currently play for the Western Sydney Wanderers Academy A-league academy.

My favorite things about soccer are being a part of team environments where I can grow and make lifelong friendships and the competitiveness of the game. I would love to play college soccer as I feel it would provide me with these two things and help me to become the best player and person that I can be.
