Personal Statement
The passion for soccer has been present in my life since the earliest years of my childhood; I have had a soccer ball literally "stuck" to my foot from the moment I turned five. I have always known that soccer is an important part of my life, thus playing in college was and is my most important goal.
Soccer has helped me develop important values that I consider are essential for every team player. First, I am very disciplined and training on a day-to-day level has helped me improve my performance off and on the field, I always try to set the best example. Moreover, I am aware that being part of a team and working for the same objective is the most important and positive attitude for any soccer player, but, above all, respect for my teammates and coaches. Humility is my strongest virtue, despite having a strong character, I listen to both my coaches and my teammates and play with passion to make the team strong.
I consider myself a perfectionist, consequently, I work hard to keep an outstanding academic performance and maintain a high GPA. I am a leader, and try my hardest to be understanding and supportive towards others; I am also aware that I make mistakes and acknowledge them and make amends to improve.
I want to study in a university where all these qualities can continue growing in order to become a better person on the field and in the classroom, and later on in the work field.I want to go to a university where I will learn new things every day and become a role model for many people.
