Personal Statement
As every soccer player, my dream is to prosper and play on professional levels of the sport. But that cannot happen if am not educated. I therefore consider education very important and first before anything else.
My college goals are to succeed both educational wise and in my career. I want to graduate with a degree in Sports administration/sports science. I want to win trophies for my college and to raise my college flag higher. I want to develop my abilities and learn more from my coaches and team mates.
Personally am a hard worker and self motivated leader with confidence. I believe am good and that motivates me to take on any challenge.
Am experienced enough having 12 years in the game and these include three years representing my Country Uganda on the national team known as the Crested Cranes. In 2018 on my first national team call I was named the 2nd assistant Captain, and last year I was promoted to the 1st assistant Captain. Am a starter both on the national team and the club playing center back. I play in the top tier of the country known as the FUFA Women Super League for She Corporate FC and Shirt 4 is my favourite Jersey number. Right is my dominant foot but I can play with left comfortably.
I have won may trophies in the game but I will mention the National achievements with the national team of recent. In CECAFA 2018 while in Rwanda on my national team debut we emerged 1st runners up and CECAFA 2019 we emerged the 2nd runners up in Tanzania. Besides CECAFA We were also invited to South Africa as a guest team. For more information check the events on my profile. However, the most important and amazing to me was the Africa5s tournament which included 8 countries, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Nigeria,South Africa, Lesotho and Uganda. It was a Five Aside tourney and we emerged the victors winning a trip to Camp Nou with Samuel Eto to watch the El Classico. It's was such a great experience.
That aside, what makes me different from the rest is my unending Zeal to win, I fight until the last whistle and I believe a game can change any time. I never give up and believe I improve each and every day. I love training because if I don't train I believe I cant play the game. I take every session serious because what you do in training is what you do on match day. I respect my coaches and fellow players, am a hard worker and fight to improve my game each day. I compete to become better than what I was yesterday and I believe hard work comes before talent.
I believe I have what it takes to be on your roster, try me you won't regret.
Thank you,
Yours Bridget.
