Personal Statement
When I first started playing soccer , I was 9 years old and playing on the boys soccer team. I grew very fond of the sport and signed with Salthill Devon FC girls team. I knew I wanted to take this sport further and play at a higher level. At 12 years old , I grew a keen interest in attending an Americian College and playing soccer at college level in the U.S. I knew this was achievable if I worked hard and focused on my goal. I have a supportive family in the U.S and a U.S passport and social security number so there is no extra paperwork involved.
I am a hard worker , I am enthusiastic and i have been told that I am very coachable and I strive to improve all the time. I am very strong and agile on the field and have a very powerful left foot (left footed kick clocked in at 46 mph). I love to get up and head the ball too.
I work hard in the classroom too and have been getting good grades in all my subjects , all of which I'm studying at and honours level. I am a member of my schools Irish Language Club. I also coach the local u10 boys soccer team which my brother plays on.
