Personal Statement
I have been playing as a Goalkeeper since I was 7 years old. I have also played in a variety of others positions on the pitch including full back and striker. I have been training with a former Canadian National team player ( who also played for Alabama State) for the past 6 years. I have had many great experiences from soccer including the privilege of representing Canada at the International Children's Games in Israel in 2018 as the starting goalkeeper.
Academically I am an identified gifted learner and have a 4.0 GPA . My career goal in life is to be a child psychiatrist as I have a passion for helping children and know that there is a desperate need for more highly trained professionals in the mental health field. .
I have learned and understand the importance of balancing work with sports and am committed to being the best I can both on and off the field! I am a proven leader and have been the captain of my soccer team and volleyball teams for many years. I am committed to working hard and passionate about the game of soccer! I learn quickly and am able to adapt to the players around me and welcome new challenges.
Soccer has taught me the value of teamwork, the importance of friendships, and helped me grow to be the person I am today!
