Personal Statement
Hello coaches and recruiters
My name is Hannah Allen. I am a US citizen born 6 January 2000 (currently 16) in Brisbane, Australia (state of Queensland). I have a large extended family living in Middle Georgia and South Carolina and have visited the US for extended holidays on several occasions.
I will be in the States this June and July playing in California, North Carolina, and hopefully Georgia. I am considering finishing my senior year in middle Georgia subject to my eligibility. I am hoping to find a good fit for university in the southeast to be close to family but am open to other options!
The "althletics" section in NCSA is not set up for how our teams work in Australia so here is a description of my various teams and what they mean.
I have been playing both club soccer and school soccer since 2007. For the past four years (through 2017) I have been playing club football in the National Premier League (NPL) competition. This is the premier selection based competition for Queensland with training based on a state and national curriculum. It is an 8 to 9 month season with 4½ hours of training per week and around 24 to 28 games. My head coaches during that time all hold Asian Football Confederation (AFC) “A” or “B” Licences. It is a requirement of the NPL for all coaches to hold at least a “C” licence. I also attend Queensland’s top soccer academy, Cavendish Road State High School and my coach Melissa Andreatta is also head coach to the W-League team the Brisbane Roar (Professional women's league).
