Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since the age of four. At 5, I moved to Colombia and continued in the sport, playing on an all-boys club team until I turned 11. Upon moving to the Middle East, I joined a club called ESG Football Academy (Enhance Sports Global) , where I showcased my skills on both a girls' team and a boys' team for two years before relocating to Italy. In Italy, I made a name for myself at a club called Fs4 Academy, where I was a standout player not only because I was the only girl in the whole Academy but also because I was able to hold my own on the pitch and became a strong part of the U15 boys team. Following my time at Fs4, I was invited to try out for the professional youth development team of SSC Napoli in the women's sector, showcasing my abilities over the course of a year. Despite not securing a contract due to citizenship issues I had a guaranteed spot in the club. Furthermore I am a member of USYS Europe's Olympic Development Program, featuring on both their U15 and U17 female teams. After being selected out of the European squad I was invited to attend the next level for tryouts on the East Coast regional team on July 6-8 of 2024. Additionally, I played a key role as a starter for Naples Middle High School's DII girl's soccer team, contributing to our victory in the European Championship in both May 2023 (9th grade) and May 2024 (10th grade). I have also been chosen to represent Oman, competing in prestigious events such as Manchester City's Abu Dhabi Cup in both February of 2024 and February of 2025. Looking to the future, I am determined to achieve excellence in my soccer career. I am considering pursuing my athletic and academic ambitions by attending college overseas in Europe or exploring professional opportunities while continuing to prioritize my education. My passionate commitment to education and my multicultural background, including fluency in three languages, will undoubtedly bring value to your college and team.
