Personal Statement
The four most important things in my life include family, friends, sports, and school. Every week is composed of a mix of all these components; you'll either find me with my family, hanging out with friends, improving my skills on the football pitch, or studying at school. I'm dedicated to all the things I love and enjoy, which is why whenever I'm faced with obstacles or setbacks, I demonstrate continuous grit and commitment to excel.
I have been able to retain my 4.0 GPA throughout the years while balancing my participation in sports, school groups, and volunteerism. I like to spend much of my time outdoors because I'm a very extroverted person and enjoy being around people. Some of my hobbies include reading and writing, such as being a writer for my school newspaper, because I aim to develop my creativity. I visit a local orphanage every Sunday, because I love being around kids and keeping a positive attitude by contributing to my community. I also love challenging myself, which is why I sign up in clubs like Broadcast Club. It encourages me to go beyond my comfort zone. With every sport I've played, class I've taken up, and club I've joined, I've learned to develop the attribute of perseverance. No matter how impossible or stressful a task seems to be, I'm driven to succeed, and I think that's one of the most significant characteristics a diligent and passionate student-athlete needs.
