Personal Statement

Profile Summary

As a dedicated student-athlete at a top-10 academic school in my state, I am on a general excellence scholarship for my football and graduate in November of 2025.my goal is to excel both academically and athletically at the highest level. I am committed to competing in a Division 1 program but open to other as well , where I can continue to develop my skills and make a meaningful contribution to the team.

My approach is built on my passion and love for the game as I feel like if you don't enjoy it you are not going to go far,  hard work, and a passion for growth. I enter every training session focused on improvement, understanding that success is grounded in dedication and continuing to work hard . I try have a supportive nature, I thrive in a collaborative environment that values teamwork and mutual success, trying to motivate and push my teammates to be the best as possible. My blend of academic and athletic discipline makes me a strong addition to any program.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

My playing style is influenced by the technical sophistication of Spanish football, I try base my game of pedri and iniesta for Barcelona and Spain,  with a skillset tailored for an attack-minded, central role I am most comfortable as an attacking midfielder but can also play as a 8, and sometimes a 6, and anywhere in attack being versatile. I bring a unique mix of technical precision, tactical awareness, creativity, and physical presence that creates opportunities for both myself and my teammates:

  • Intelligent Positioning and Playmaking: I constantly scan the field to find and exploit space between the lines, moving quickly and intelligently to give teammates passing options. I understand when to demand the ball, adjusting my position to disrupt the opposition’s defensive structure and create attacking chances. My quick movements make me a difficult player to mark, and I excel at finding the right moment to receive the ball and trigger the next phase of play.

  • Controlled and Precise Passing: Known for my ability to execute weighted, accurate passes of both feet, I can change the game’s tempo with a well-timed pass, either to progress play or to drive the ball beyond an opponent. I particularly excel at threading through balls between defenders, often finding forwards or wingers making runs behind the opposition's line. I approach each pass with purpose, ensuring my teammate receives it in a way that maintains the momentum of our attack.

  • First Touch and Decision-Making: I use my first touch to set up my next move, taking the ball in the direction I intend to progress. This is key to my game, allowing me to maintain the team’s pace in attack and create space to look up and assess options. When receiving lateral or diagonal passes, I’m able to maintain forward momentum, positioning my body to retain control while staying aware of opportunities to advance play.

  • Physical Presence and Defensive Contribution: At [5,9 ], I bring height, physical strength, also doing strength and conditioning 3x a week since 2022, and a defensive work rate that keeps me engaged on both sides of the field. I excel in situations that require resilience, consistently tracking back to support the team’s defensive structure. I’m also comfortable playing as a false 9, adding versatility to my role within various formations.

  • Dynamic Ball Control and Agility: With quick acceleration and excellent dribbling ability, I can carry the ball effectively at speed, using skillful changes in direction to keep the ball away from opponents. This is particularly useful against teams that play with a low block, as my ability to beat defenders 1-on-1 creates valuable openings in tight spaces.

  • Early Competitive Experience: My debut in the 3rd division of the Australian league at age 14 was an invaluable experience that shaped my composure, adaptability, and technical ability. I also played with boys in the league until 14 before perusing u23 and women's football, and continue to train with the u16-18 boys in the offseason who play for the best Australian academies. Competing at this level taught me to read the game at a higher pace, manage physical challenges, mental toughness, and understand the demands of high-stakes football.

Commitment to Growth

I aim to bring my dedication, adaptability, and high-level technical skill to a Division 1 team that values hard work and excellence. I’m excited to contribute to a competitive program that will challenge me, foster my growth, and allow me to learn alongside top-tier athletes.
