Personal Statement
My name is Bianka Waxman and I am a passionate soccer player and student. I was born in Hungary in 2006 and moved to Germany when I was three weeks old. Since then, I have grown up in a multicultural environment that has shaped my personality and worldview. I love playing sports and learning new things, and I want to study Sports and Entertainment/Media Management in college after graduating highschool in 2026.
I have been playing as a goalkeeper for over six years, bit of a family tradition. I have learned how to adapt, communicate, and face challenges on and off the field. I always give my best effort and improve myself.
I have a very open and friendly personality, and I enjoy working with others. I respect and value the opinions and advice of my teammates, coaches and parents while sharing my own views and experiences. I have a lot of enthusiasm and energy, I like to motivate and support my teammates.
Besides soccer, I am also very interested in academic and educational pursuits. I have a good academic record and I have participated in several extracurricular activities, such as being part of the school first aid squad and volunteering as a lifesaver at our local lake during the summer months. I have a curious and analytical mind, and I enjoy solving problems and exploring new ideas. I am particularly interested in the field of Sports and Entertainment/Media Management, as it would allow me to combine my passion for soccer with my skills and talents in other areas after graduating from college.
Joining a college soccer team would be a great opportunity for me to pursue my dream and to develop my potential. I would love to be part of a team that shares my passion and enthusiasm for the game, and that strives for excellence and improvement.
