Personal Statement
Hi, My name is Julia Raine I am 17 years old and a senior at St. Andrews International School where I am studying in the IB program. I have been playing competitive soccer since I was 12 and have been playing for the Bahamas Women’s Soccer team going on 5 years now. I hope to go to college and study in accounting . I also wish to compete in soccer at college while completing my studies.
I would make a good candidate for the team because I am quick on the ball, I am very good at picking out and producing plays on the field, I am good with taking set plays (corners, free kicks, penalty), my passing is strong and accurate, and I am a good team player. I am 9 times out of ten in a positive mood and don’t let many things get me down, I think this helps me on the field by keeping a clear mindset to focus on my game. My academics are always a top priority in my life. I have always prided myself with keeping good grades while also having a full schedule of soccer and other sports in my life. I will continue to do this when I go to college so that I can get the best education possible and set my self myself up well for after college.
