• The Student-Athlete Resources and Support (STARS) Programme provides Bahamian high school student- athletes with the tools they need to extend their educational and athletic experience beyond high school, to the collegiate level. The STARS College Soccer Showcase was a 2-day exposure event hosted by the Ministry of Education in conjunction with the Bahamas Football Association for male and female Bahamian high school student-athletes to showcase their talents to local, US, and Canadian college coaches.

• The Bahamas’ team for the 2020 CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) Under-17 Girls Championship Qualifiers, chosen by the Bahamas Football Association’s (BFA) Technical Department competed in Willemstad, Curacao. The Bahamas played out of Group D with host nation Curacao, Guyana and St. Vincent & the Grenadines.

• The camp was focused heavily on technical skills in a competitive environment. The Florida Elite coaches under Sean Bubb, along with Bahamian National Players conducted the camp.

• The BFA/Florida Elite Summer Camp started at 9 am and ended at noon. Both professional coaches from florida Elite and The Bahamas football Association included Sean Bubb (Executive Director of Florida Elite Soccer academy who has taken 4 different clubs to National Championships); Joe Soto (Director of Florida Elite Soccer Academy); John McCleland (Director of ECNL teams) and Leslie St Fleur BFA Mens National Teams ( Beach and Grass).

• For approximately 9 months, female athletes around The Bahamas trained and competed to be a part of the 30 girls on The Bahamas’ Under-15s national team. 20 of them travelled to IMG Academy to represent the country.

• This Summer Camp was focused on personal improvement, skills and fitness. Female attendees trained with the official Women’s DIII Pachuca Club. The Club de futbol Pachuca is a Mexican professional football team based in Pachuca, Hidalgo that competes in Liga MX.
