Personal Statement
My name is Ina and I have been passionate about soccer for as long as I can remember. Although I have participated in numerous sports throughout my childhood, including gymnastics, ballet, swimming, and ice-skating, to name a few, soccer is really the one that stuck with me. Ultimately, my goal as an athlete is to become the most improved version of the player I currently am, ensuring that I am constantly bettering myself little by little with each day. It is without question that I aspire to play at the highest level possible and I am willing to put in the effort in order to attain that goal. On the field, I am a disciplined, hard-working, and focused player, but I am also a helpful, empathetic, and lighthearted person as a whole. Additionally, I place a large importance on academics and am capable of managing my time well between school and soccer. Even though I am unsure of my preferred field of study at the moment, I have interests in subjects including Science and Math, and am leaning towards pursuing higher education in these areas.
I currently play for Lakeshore SC on the FU16 PLSJQ (AAA) Team. Last year, we came second in the Coupe du Québec Provincials following a narrow 1-0 loss. Throughout the years, I have also been selected to play at CDR (Centre développement régional/ Regional Development Center) and PIR (Programme d'identification régional/ Regional Identification Program), both of which are training programs composed of the top players in the region of Québec.
