Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Carla Húmera and I've been playing soccer since I was very little. I'm from Spain but I've lived half my life in Panama, located in Central America. I used to play with boys in Spain when I was little as it wasn't common for girls to play. When I moved to Panama, I kept playing soccer but with girls this time, and I've come a long way since. As I'm entering my senior year of high school, I can say I've played at the LFF, Panama's professional league and won twice. I've been in different soccer environments and have encountered many challenges within, but these have made me grow as a person and player. I've always wanted to play college soccer in the US, it has been my dream since I was a little girl. I've worked very hard for it and I'll continue to as I enjoy learning everyday in order to become the best possible version of me.
