Personal Statement
One of my dreams is to play professional soccer, while also completing my university education. That’s why I refuse to neglect either area, and I’m actively seeking opportunities in the United States to pursue both my studies and my sports career. I consider myself a woman with a strong character, who doesn’t give up in the face of adversity. I’ve overcome many challenges and difficult times. Although I initially pursued swimming, competing in several national events, and later transitioned to triathlons, my true passion has always been soccer—it runs in my blood.
Some time ago, I faced one of the most difficult tests in my life, and I thought I wouldn’t make it through. I suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus, which is the worst injury for an athlete. I honestly considered giving up, but my determination to fulfill my dreams prevailed. It’s a complex and difficult process, but not impossible. That’s why I’m here now, writing to let you get to know me a little better and to convince you that I am a strong woman who always pursues and fights for her dreams. I love studying and playing soccer, and what better way to do both at the same time.
