Personal Statement
I think I'd be a good candidate for your team because I'm very dedicated and hard working; especially when it comes to soccer. I have mostly played defense (other than goalie) since I've started playingin 2014, but recently my coach has been putting me more on offense because I'm quick and can handle the ball well. I'll play wherever the coach puts me, I'm very versatile. I always try my best and push myself to the limit. I have a very friendly character, yet I'm aggressive on the field. I'll do anything to make sure I get the ball.
A way I believe I might be different from other candidates is that I can play with both my left and my right feet, and I continue to practice so I can get even better. I'm also a very good team player, I believe that you can't win without teamwork and team bonding is very important. I'm easy to talk to and love being around people. I also try really hard in school to keep my grades up and ask questions when I'm confused so I make sure I know what's going on. I'd love to play soccer in college, but also I'd like to study in the business field. I'm not exactly sure what field yet but I'm planning on figuring that out through the course of this final year of high school. Another way I'm different from a lot of candidates is that I'm a military dependant, I've lived overseas almost all of my life. I was born in Germany and lived there a total of 12 years (5 years the first time and 7 the second). After my first time in Germany I moved to Alaska and was there for about 4 years then headed back to Germany. One year my parents decided to put my in the youth soccer program and I loved it so much so they found me a team I could play on year-round; Fc Bitburg. I played with Bitburg from 2014 until I moved in 2017 to England; and that's where I am now. I've been playing on the Lakenheath High School varsity team since my sophomore year. I made captain of the varsity team my junior year.
