Personal Statement
Growing up I wanted to play soccer at a college level. When I first started playing soccer I Knew in my gut this was going to be a huge part of my life. I grew up playing with my brothers and my dad. My uncle used to play at a profile professional level.
I am a senior at my high school and have been playing soccer since I was little. I have played other sports for example volleyball and track but the only sport I wanted to continue was with soccer. It became my passion so I gave all my time for practice. My friends say that my quote is “I can't have soccer” because every time there is an event or something I put practice first. My dominant foot is left but I can play with both. I grew up in Honduras in a bilingual school which gave me so many opportunities for example practicing with the SUB-17 National team, sadly my school ended at 3 pm and practices started at 2 pm. I was able to gain experience going to Central American Tournaments and playing with other really good bilingual schools, making a starter line, in which most years we got high ranked and even won last year.
Besides soccer, I love painting, cooking, fashion, and business. My grandpa was a businessman so I was able to learn from him. As I grew up my mom started to include me more in the family business feeding my passion for business. I want to study in a field of business because I believe I am open-minded which will for sure help me develop and grow our company. I am creative in all aspects of my life and willing to take risks by trying things I have never done before. I am always painting in my free time or creating new stuff like fashion clothing.
