India Newitt '26 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college future where I can combine playing soccer at a high standard whilst pursuing a strong academic career. 

I currently play for two soccer teams, training four times a week and playing competitively twice a week. I am a passionate goalkeeper with strong leadership skills, having captained two different teams. Additionally, I am a qualified soccer referee, therefore, I have a highly developed knowledge of the game. 

In the summer I play the classic English sport of cricket. I played in a local mixed team, where I was the only girl! My goalkeeping reflexes have proven very useful so far, over my years in cricket. I will likely be joining a women’s team this summer.

Academically, I have a natural skill for languages, with a high proficiency in German and fluency in French. I also have a passion for humanities subjects.
