Personal Statement
After coming in second place in the Mongolian U-16 National Cup, I found myself wanting to become a better CM with defensive qualities and attacking abilities. I was fortunate enough to be selected for my nation’s youth team (U-16 and U-19) and through these experiences, I learned the value of commitment, character, and teamwork.
The year after that I was promoted to the senior side and when I started training with bigger and faster players, I learned the importance of soccer IQ, body movement, and fitness. However, after the 2020 season, I unfortunately suffered two injuries to my right knee which took me out for 6 months. Through my injuries, I learned resilience, patience, and time management. I also reflected on my academics and have since improved my GPA from 3.3 to 3.7.
I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I know I have a lot more to do to reach my goal and it motivates me to give my best on the pitch and in the classroom. I am a versatile and adaptable player. I can play ST, CM, and RB or any place that the coach sees me fit to play in. I would love the opportunity to play at a college level and fight for my place on the team PS. I am an international student from Mongolia. However, my profile keeps lagging when I try to change my location.
