Personal Statement
Hi, I am Zorena and I am from Bermuda and have been playing soccer since the age of 8 where I learned the importance of sacrifice, dedication, and teamwork. After representing my country in the Concacaf U20 Championship in 2021, I began seriously considering playing collegiate soccer. I aspire to play soccer at a collegiate level while also studying business which is a huge passion of mine. Academics is a very important part of my life and I plan to go into the business industry after college.
I consider myself a main communicator of my team in Bermuda and a positive person on and off the pitch. I have been encompassed in the Bermuda Football Association for over 4 years which shows my dedication and passion for soccer. I have competed in a number of international tournaments and have extensive experience playing at a high level. In addition, I've played for both the U20 and Women's Bermuda teams, which has taught me how to communicate effectively because I've played with women ranging in age from my own to ten years older.
