Jada Dachtler '22 Recruiting Profile

In searching for a program my highest priority is academics. I am an executive board member for Iowa City West High BPA (business professionals of America) and have grown from the experiences that it has provided. I am driven to continue building on this experience  

Soccer is also very important to me and I’ve invested many years into training and playing. Being able to play in Las Vegas for an ODP tournament has been the highlight of my soccer career. However, I believe I grew the most as a player when I did not make ODP the first I tried out in 2015. That experience motivated me to work harder, spend more time with the ball, and become a strong player. Since then I have made four consecutive ODP selections.

Starting varsity as a freshman has taught me how to play against skilled, fast, and older players using my vision of the field and technical ability. It has also helped me learn how important teamwork, leadership, and commitment are to team success. With my ability to play all 10 field positions I was able to fill the team’s need of a versatile, fast outside mid/forward this year.

I am searching for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I believe that I have the work-ethic, leadership, technical skills, and talent to make an positive impact on your program.
