My strong faith has taught me that God has given me a gift in everything I do. I believe that you have to lift those up and support those around you in order to be the best that you can be. Whether that be in the classroom, on the field or in society. I have been inspired to play soccer for as long as I can remember. I first stepped foot on a soccer field at the age of 5. It was a feeling of excitement, and I still feel this way every time I am on the field. I am goal driven and I am looking forward to what my future holds for me in my academics and athletics. My education is very important to me and I have always stayed above a 3.5 grade point average. I know that my education comes first. It sets the tone for my future no matter what it might be. I work hard on the field and in the classroom. I have been apart of the Iowa ODP program for 5 years. I am always ready to learn and train hard. I push my comfort levels and I am always eager to grow as an athlete and student. I want to continue to play this sport that I love so much. The highlights of my soccer career so far: Winning the 2020 Iowa State Cup Championship with my Sporting Iowa East club travel team, helped lead my high school team to a State appearance for the first time since 2007, 14 years. I ended my junior season with 19 goals and 13 assists as a forward. I am all about team and I love getting a ball to my teammates as much or even more than scoring. I don't think there is anyone out there that would say I am a selfish player. Most of the time they tell me to be a bit more selfish. I finished 10th in 3A points for the 2021 season, selected 2nd team MAC Conference team and 2nd team 3A All-District team. My last club season of 2021 we won state cup for the second year in a row and I couldn't be more proud of the group of girls that I have played with for many years. I believe that we need to keep pulling each other along side each other along the path of success together in every aspects of our lives.
