2022 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Gracie Madden. I attend school at Paul G. Blazer High School. Freshman year I played defense on the varsity team and started JV. The summer before sophomore year our starting goalie tore her ACL and I had to step up and play goalie. My first year playing goalie I made 2nd team all-region. Junior year I was named a captain of our team. I also earned the awards 2nd team all-region and all-area team. Being a captain is an honor and isn’t something I hold lightly. I want to be an example for my teammates and others both on and off the field. While being a multisport athlete, I am also currently enrolled in the most challenging classes I can take and am involved in a multitude of clubs at my school. One thing I believe can help me succeed at the collegiate level is that I am a versatile player. While my main position is goalie, I have the ability to play anywhere on the field.
