My family and teammates made me into the soccer player I am today. My family has taught me to put 100% effort into everything that I do. They showed me how to be determined and passionate about any sport I play. I proudly play the game I love with 100% effort and determination every time. I try to play my best every game and every practice.
My teammates have taught me that teamwork is important. It is especially important in the game of soccer. You should be able to rely on your teammates and have trust in them. I trust my teammates, and I know they trust me to protect the goal. They trust me because I am a physical player and I can read the game well. I also coach my teammates and help them make the next play. I know my teammates like the back of my hand.
As a center back, I am not afraid to slide tackle and head the ball. I am willing to go up against some of the biggest and most skilled players. I do not back down from challenges. I am also quick on my feet and can shift well. I can see the whole field and I know where to position myself to defend an opponent.
For the Academic aspect, I have a 4.0 GPA at Runnels High School. I have completed honors classes in Biology and Math. In addition, I will be taking Statistics AP next year (senior year). I played high school soccer at Runnels on the varsity team since 7th grade and I still play as a junior. In my freshman year I lettered in cross country and track as well.
While in college, I plan on majoring in Kinesiology and attend a school where I enjoy the campus life. I want to play on a team where I can play on the field but also compete for my position.NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the exclusive athletic recruiting network that educates, assists, and connects, families, coaches and companies so they can save time and money, get ahead and give back.
