Aleah Harris '16 Recruiting Profile

My dream has always been to play college soccer and if the chance presented itself to play beyond that. However, my ultimate goal beyond college is to become a physical therapist. I've always loved playing at a high level to the point that my high school coaches have pulled me aside of my training to train upcoming keepers for the program. I love learning from others and teaching others what I know. From as far back as I remember, it's been very easy for me to take criticism and work from it. If I'm lacking a skill right now, then I'll teach myself and improve myself for the future and I believe that's a very important quality to have. Being able to watch, absorb and learn (with pesistance) has gotten me a long way, not just from on the pitch but in the classroom too. Not many people will get it right the first time but if you're persistant enough to continue to push through adversity and challenges, who knows where you might be one day and that's something I constantly remind myself of.
