Hello! My name is Baleigh. I have been playing soccer for about 7 years now and I love this sport! It's one of those sports that you can't get tired of and that you wait for all year or at least to me. I was on the middle school 7th grade year and as well as 8th grade year. I also made the high school team for JV and we ended up winning the championship against a team that's always won the championship. I was the only one that had scored a goal in that game, it was a very proud moment.
Also during our season, we did tournaments and we went against this one school no one had ever scored on them but I ended up scoring and they came up to my coach after the game and told them that. But after our JV season was over I was selected out of 3 JV team members to go to the playoffs with our varsity team. I was the only one out of the 3 of us that got chosen that got to play in them and it was a big step up and made me feel amazing because all the hard work I had put in was finally paying off.
I work very hard on my soccer skills. If I don't understand something I will be the first to ask or if I do understand it and someone else doesn't I will be the first to help them. I'm a very versatile player. You can put me anywhere and I'll get the job done. I also do track because to the people around me, I'm fast and I would like to think so too. I ran a 100m dash in 13.66 as well as running a 400m in 1:08.18. I'm very proud of where I am now with soccer and as well as track and I will continue to grow.
