One of the happiest days of my life was when I found out we were getting a soccer program started at Cecilia High School the year I was going to be a freshman. It meant a lot to me and my teammates because soccer is our passion. I love the sport the has been so giving to me. Our first year was tough because we were all still trying to get in sync with each other as a team with many girls never playing organized sports before. Towards the end of our inaugural season everything started to click. We started winning and became closer as a team. We missed the playoffs by only a small percentage. All that hard work has paid off over the life of the program, with us making the playoffs the past 2 years. Putting the work in is what makes the games a reward for our team.
My CSC club playing time has been very important to me as well. I have loved growing as a player playing for the Cajun Soccer Club in Lafayette for the past 6 years. The friendships and bonds that have been formed over those years of training and competing are especially important to me.
