Hello, my name is Lilyanna Dupont, I have had the privilege of playing soccer since the age of 10. I am currently 17 and am a Junior at Thomas Jefferson for Advanced Studies Academy. I have attended the advanced schooling systems since 7th grade and have maintained the A and B honor roll with an average GPA of 4.1. I am president of the National Art Honors Society and have been part of Talented Art since sophomore year, along with participating in Talented Voice since seventh grade. The church I attend is called White Dove Fellowship and I have attended there my whole life. Attending youth groups every Wednesday and church services every Sunday. God had always come first in my life and I had the privilege of having Godly parents that were youth pastors. I have played varsity soccer since freshman year and started as a center back. My coach always said I was a natural leader and had an evident passion for the game. I proceeded to receive MVP Defense that same year. I have started every game since then and have only ever missed two games. I have always been coachable and ask coaches for criticism to further my ability to be the best player I can be. I have had the leading number of assists since my sophomore year. After my freshman year I went on to play in different spots of the mid field depending on the team we played. I am a very diverse player, I have played every position in soccer and played as hard as possible. It never mattered the position as long as I was able to play and exceed in my passion. This past season our team became one of the three public schools in our district to ever win a playoff game and hosted a playoff game for the first time in girls soccer for our school. During the club season I primarily play the CAM position. We partake in two practices a week with tournaments on the weekends. All I’ve ever wanted to do was go to the next level and perform within a division 1 college. I train every week and play volleyball as well in order to keep my body as fit as possible. I am unable to have a private trainer so I’ve watched countless videos and step by steps to become a better soccer player on my own. I‘ve asked for advice from my highschool coach and club coach, along with my high schools athletic trainer. This helped advance my knowledge on training and becoming a better player. I have the drive to play at the next level and am willing to do whatever it takes to get to that level. I am always willing to play no matter the condition, soccer plays a huge role in my life and want nothing more to continue my passion and succeed with other players and coaches.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Lilyanna Dupont
