Kaelyn Guidroz '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaelyn Guidroz. I fell in love with soccer when I was 9 years old. Because of the late start, I had to work extra hard to catch up and become as good as all the rest of the girls my age. All of the hard work I put in is starting to pay off. I am the starting outside defender for my  high school team. I also had the honor of being selected to represent my state and play for the 2019 and the 2021 Louisiana ODP team. I play and started outside defender, but also have an offensive skill set. I am able to bring the ball from the back of the defense and score or assist. In 20/21  I was honorable mention  all district and 2nd team freshman Allstate my freshman year. I made it to regionals in Track for long jump as well as parish champion in the 100m as a freshman.  Long jump 16’ and triple jump 35’ as a freshman. I will bring hard work, desire and determination as well as  a never give up attitude  to my college team.  I will give 100% on the pitch and in the classroom. I am determined not to end my soccer career in high school. I have a burning desire to play soccer in college and will put in all of the work to make it happen.
