My name is Abby Bouffard and I am in the graduating class of 2025. I am generally a forward, but I am able to excel in any attacking or mid-field position I am needed in. I began playing youth soccer when I was 5 through my local Rec department. I transitioned to a travel team in the 4th grade and moved on to join the VelocityFC Premier Club team in 2017. Despite being an ‘07’ on an ‘05’ team, I have twice been voted captain, start nearly every game, and am rarely subbed. In my first season of high school soccer (2021) I was the only freshman to make varsity. After making varsity I started every game, played the full 80 minutes in the majority of the games, and was awarded All-Conference H.M. Playing up I have gained great vision of the field and am able to read plays before they happen. Being younger than my teammates and competitors has also pushed me to work on my mindfulness as an athlete. To this day I continue to work on my mindfulness with my coaches. The love and passion I have for this sport started when I began playing and has grown stronger ever since. It has always been my goal to play at the college level, I love the competition.
