Megan Scholten '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a very dedicated and passionate individual on and off the soccer field. When I get a goal in my head I want to do everything I can to accomplish it. My long term goal that I have been working on for a while is to play soccer in college at a high level. I spend the majority of my free time with a soccer ball at my feet. I am a coachable individual who has a positive look at everything. I will do anything just to get better at my favorite sport. One challenge I have had to face is living in Northern Michigan, where competitive soccer opportunities are limited. I often have to travel 2-4 hours to play competitive teams. I don’t mind traveling long distances for a sport that I am so passionate about. I am a dedicated individual and will do anything to throw my cleats on and play soccer at a high level. I am lucky enough to have been chosen to be on the Midwest ODP Team (2018). I played center mid and outside mid against some really talented girls in the ODP Interregional Showcase.
