Personal Statement

Looking for class of'24  multifaceted player? Forward, Outside Midfielder or Defender then I'm that person!

Hello, my name is Lyllian Craig and I am currently a senior at Fremont High School. During the fall season I play for Midwest United FC Premier '06 team, and during the spring I play for my High School Varsity team. I play my best while in an outside Forward or Midfield position. This season I'm learning to become a defender as well. Being in an outside position helps me to see the whole field and foresee gameplay of the opposing team as well as my own.

One of my goals has always been getting into a college with a soccer scholarship and building strong relationships with my teammates. I've been playing soccer since I was four years old and made it onto my first premier team when I was twelve. Midwest United, my current team, has been apart of my life for all of high school making it hard to leave, but exiting to see where we all end up next year. Soccer is more than just a sport to me, its a lifestyle with constant room for improvement and connection with your team/ coaches.

The camp will feature quality instruction from active college coaches, evaluations provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process, and a Discussion on College Athletics for both players and parents. Each segment of camp will consist of player evaluation and skill training on the technical and tactical competences of the game. The camp is open to all high school soccer players and is limited in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules. All campers and their parents should attend the Discussion on College Athletics. Our goal for a player-to-coach ratio is 6:1 but will not exceed 8:1. ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE Instruction from all coaches attending the event. Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches. One-on-one and small group instruction. An open discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations (parents are encouraged to either stay or come back for this segment. Questions are encouraged as to help answer questions and address details about the recruiting process). All players will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.
