Madison Holloway '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a left footed outside midfielder who also plays left forward or attacking center mid. As a player, I have exceptional ball skills and control with superior field vision that results in numerous through balls becoming assists. I am so blessed with two amazing, hard-working teams to play with; a competitive club team in the fall, and an outstanding high school program in the spring. As a freshman, I had an amazing high school season, starting varsity every match and having my team make it to the state semifinals, placing third in the state of Michigan. Where we lost athletically, we won and grew so much characteristically. Our team had faced some adversities throughout the season, and we realized the only way to get through it was to lean on one another and work hard, leaving it all on the field. It helped the team and myself to realize that success comes by working through hardships. It's when the team reaches its peak and becomes a dynamic and trustworthy group of girls able to overcome obstacles, willing to sacrifice their personal goals for the team goals, that you then succeed.

I believe I have the ability to focus on the task at hand, adapt to any hindrance that comes my way, and an ability to never give up on a play and keep working until the whistle blows. By also playing up on an '01 club team I know I am not only prepared to compete at the college level, but to also bring an adept work-ethic and positive energy to make an impact on any program.
