Emma Corlett '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma Corlett. I started playing soccer around the age of 5 and since then my love for the sport has just continued to grow. I love the community aspect as well as the creative mindset behind the sport. Soccer has allowed me to grow and evolve as an athlete and as a person. Playing soccer at a college level will allow me to continue to evolve as a player and it will allow me to continue to do the thing that brings me so much joy!!

I am a strong, kind and confident leader; who loves encouraging and building up those around me. I have a strong soccer IQ and I love the strategy and tactics behind the sport. I am also a very versatile player who has the experience playing everywhere on the field and is willing to play wherever benefits my team the most. I thrive off of constructive criticism because I know it will make me better, making me a coachable player. 

I play soccer year round and my passion for the sports motivates me to be a better player each and every day. Whether I’m playing for my club team, AYSO United, or for my school, Hudsonville High school, I am always looking to better those around me and grow as a player. I am open to all colleges but I am ultimately looking for one that’s going to push me as an athlete and as a person to prepare me for life ahead.
